NF525 certification

The Bimedia payment-collection solution is NF 525-certified

As of 1 January 2018, all shopkeepers using cash-register software must have a payment collection system which meets conditions of inalterability, security, and data conservation and archiving.

Arising from the 2016 Finance Act, these regulations are intended to combat VAT fraud, as part of a wider effort to combat tax fraud. Shopkeepers who fail to meet these requirements face a fine of €7500,  which will be repeated until the cash register is compliant.

To ensure that our customers are in complete compliance with the law, Bimedia has selected the certification process organised by INFOCERT, the technical office of certifying body AFNOR.

A technical audit of the software and an audit of the quality system were conducted on site, together with an analysis of data flows and software documentation.
Certification NF525, obligations 2018

The payment-collection software developed by Bimedia has obtained  NF525 certification and the right to use the NF525 Mark, and is compliant with standard ISO/IEC 25051, which confirms the integrity of the payment-collection system. The certified version of our software will be gradually rolled out to our customer base as of December 2017, at no additional cost.
